The India-Sri Lanka Foundation suports project proposals, which will assist to enhance bilateral relations between India and Sri Lanka. Any individuals / entities / Institutions interested in conducting programmes with India – Sri Lanka Foundation are requested to follow the guidelines below for submission of new proposals.
THRUST AREAS
- Education, including short-term teaching/technical training assignments for students/faculty members
- Art & Culture
- Archaeological Studies
- Agricultural Research
- Science & Technology
- Information Technology
- Health, including short-term teaching/technical training assignments
- Development Studies
- Gender Studies
PROJECTS / PROGRAMMES
Under the above thrust areas, proposals could be submitted for the following projects, besides other activities:
- Higher studies, research and other educational activities at recognised institutions of learning located in India and in Sri Lanka;
- Visits and Exchanges involving students, scholars, academics, artists, professionals and performing artistes;
- To participate in conference/seminar, symposia, art exhibition, film festival, cultural events and training workshops, etc.;
- Publication of research works on India-Sri Lanka relations in the specified fields;
- Translating literary works in Indian languages to Sri Lankan languages and publishing them, and vice-versa.
WHO CAN APPLY:
Individuals, institutions and groups are welcome to submit proposals aimed at developing India-Sri Lanka Relations. Along with the application form and the project proposal, individuals may submit their CVs.
